Did you know that Specific Gravity alone is not an appropriate measurement of Alumina content?

Chemifloc Ltd announce that they have sourced an independent laboratory that can now carry out analysis as directed by IS EN 1302.

IS EN 1302 directs that Aluminium should only be measured by EDTA/CDTA complexation and not by techniques such as ICP or similar. This is recommended because of the high margins of error that any other methodology creates due to the massive dilutions that would be required and also other mitigating interferences.
